Working on smart cities, anticipatory policy and design thinking in Bergamo, Italy

On June 15th 2017 we have participated on working sessions at Bérgamo and Universitá di Bérgamo together with Giovanna Dossena (Bergamo) as kind host, Ricardo Altimira (Effectia), Manuela Barreca (Universita della Svizzera Italiana), Tonxu Campos (Deusto), Giovanni Corazza (Bologna Center for Creativity-Marcony Foundation), María Luisa Martínez, Juan de Dios Sanz (UPM), and Roberto Poli (Trento University).

The focus of our work has been to discuss the creation of a task force, focused on anticipatory policy and design thinking as a tool to address anticipated risks.

Obviously our interests at UCJC are linked to anticipatory policy in cities. At Universidad Camilo José Cela we are well suited to participate and disseminate through CIGMAP --a center of excelence where we are training government teams, at the local and national level, both in Africa and Latin America. We are also well suited to bring forward results through the schools of Communications and Urban Management

We can also be of help with the network of cities and experts on smart cities working already with us in Europe and worldwide.
